The Importance of Having Club Tenets
Tenets represent the ethics and or morals that we believe should be passed onto the next generation, and martial art clubs often teach children. Lots of martial arts already have these tenets built into the art itself, but what good is a word if a child doesn't understand it? By having club tenets that are maybe different and more inclusive than the ones that are included in your art of choice.
How Can Business Tenets Help You?
Picture this, you've got a class full of children, some annoy the others while some stay to themselves, how do you prepare these young ones for the future ahead with only 4 or 6 tenets? This is where your own club's tenets can come in handy and can help cover what the art is missing or what your students need.
One great example of using tenets inside of your lessons is, for example, let's say there's a lot of cheating going on between the exercises you do, so you can introduce the tenet of honesty into your lessons to encourage kids to be honest about what they're doing.

Reinforce Tenets Through Classes!
The best way to use tenets is through your classes, maybe every time something happens that goes against one of the tenets, you can remind them that they should show the tenet. You can also do this by living as an example; if you yourself show the tenets, then it becomes clearer to the kids that they should show them.
